How to identify a K-drama from a screenshot
K-dramas share a production grammar — soft key lighting, glossy grade, similar wardrobe conventions — that makes casual identification hard. The discriminating details are cast, Hangul text and location.

Cast is the fastest route
Korean television leans heavily on a recognisable pool of leads. A clear face in a frame is usually enough to name the actor, and the actor plus a rough era usually names the drama.
If the frame shows two leads together, that pairing is often unique to a single series.
Read the Hangul
Company logos, hospital and school signage, name badges, chat messages and food packaging frequently carry the fictional organisation's name — which is series-specific and highly searchable.
Keep the whole frame rather than cropping to the actors, and keep any burned-in subtitles: translated dialogue lines are directly matchable against scripts.
Genre and setting cues
Sageuk (historical) dramas are separated quickly by hanbok style and palace architecture. Contemporary office, medical, legal and revenge-thriller settings each have visual conventions that narrow the field before cast is even considered.
Season and episode are rarely determinable from a single frame; a second frame showing a plot-specific moment helps materially.
