Upload one or more screenshots from a movie, TV series, anime, or drama and our AI will identify it within seconds.
To find what movie a scene is from, upload a screenshot of the scene (or paste a YouTube link) above. The AI reads the faces, setting, wardrobe and on-screen text, then names the film or show with a confidence label, a short explanation of the clues it used, and alternate candidates if it isn't sure.
Identify a scene from a frame or a clip
Upload one or more screenshots of the scene, or switch to the video-link tab and paste a YouTube URL. For links we pull key frames from the video and, when speech is present, transcribe the dialogue so the visual and spoken signals can be cross-checked against each other.
Which frame to pick
The best frame shows a face clearly, in focus and not mid-motion. Wide shots that reveal the location help too, as do frames with any readable text — a street sign, a newspaper, a title card. Avoid frames covered by captions, stickers or reaction overlays. If you can, upload two or three frames from different moments of the same scene: each one adds independent evidence and the match becomes much more reliable.
Scenes from TikTok, Reels and Shorts
Short-form clips are often cropped to vertical, zoomed in, mirrored or colour-filtered, which strips away a lot of context. Pause on the cleanest moment, take a screenshot and crop out the app interface before uploading. For YouTube Shorts you can paste the link directly. If the clip has dialogue you can make out, try the quote finder too — a single remembered line is often enough on its own.
Scene context, not just a title
Every answer explains what is happening in the scene, where it falls in the story, which characters are on screen and who plays them — written to stay spoiler-light so you can still watch the film cold.
What to do if the match is wrong
Every result shows how sure the AI is: Confident, Likely or Best guess. When it's a best guess, check the alternate candidates listed underneath — the right title is often one of them. Otherwise add a sharper frame, a different moment from the same scene, or try another approach such as searching by a line of dialogue, an actor or a plot description.
Then go watch it
Each result links straight to the official trailer plus streaming, rental and purchase options, along with a short 'should you watch it' verdict built from critic and audience scores.

Frequently asked questions
What if the scene has no faces in it?
+
Landscapes, interiors and abstract frames still carry clues: production design, aspect ratio, film stock and colour grading. The confidence score will be lower, so upload extra frames if you have them.
Can it identify a scene from a TikTok or Reels clip?
+
Screenshot the clip and upload the image. Direct link support currently covers YouTube videos and Shorts.
Can it tell me which episode a TV scene is from?
+
It always tries to name the show. It only gives a season and episode when the scene contains clear evidence, such as a title card, a one-off guest star or a distinctive location — otherwise it says so rather than guessing.
How many screenshots can I upload for one scene?
+
Up to ten. Two or three frames from different moments of the same scene usually give the most accurate match.
Is the scene finder free?
+
Yes. It's free, there's no sign-up, and results arrive in seconds.
